Popular tele-evangelist, Morris Cerullo is dead

Popular tele-evangelist and preacher, Dr Morris Cerullo, is dead. Cerullo died on Saturday in San Diego, California, United States, US. The clergyman who has authored over 80 Christian literatures died at the age of 88 years. Cerullo was born on October 2, 1931 in New Jersey to a Russo-Jewish/Italian family. Reacting to his death, founder and Presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, described Cerullo’s demise as shocking. Living Faith recorded 114 COVID-19 healing so far – Bishop Oyedepo

Bishop David Oyedepo General Overseer of Living Faith Church, on Sunday, disclosed that his church recorded 114 COVID-19 healings. He spoke during his sermon at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State, while faulting the partial reopening of markets. The cleric lamented that market places where people no longer observe social distancing or hygiene remain open but the church is being suppressed. The Federal Government on Tuesday released the guidelines for religious centres to resume activities in the country. Nigerian govt issues age bracket, warns against kissing, hugging at worship centres

The federal government, through the Presidential Task Force, PTF, on COVID-19 has warned against activities such as kissing, hugging, shaking or touching at worship centres.
